03.Make the Hack-E-Bot move

Start programming the robot to move it’s servos forward, backward, right, and left.

This will include challenges that require the use of this programming to navigate the robot through some tasks.

04.Using the Sonar sensor

Students will use new sensors to take real world input and react to that input.

We will begin with the sonar sensor to ultimately create an object avoiding robot that mimics the original program on the chip.

05.Using the light sensor

This will involve reading an analog value from the sensors and developing search logic to react to the changing environment, IE the line.

This will include a challenge to optimize how quickly the robots can trace a line from start to finish.

06.Using other logic chips

This will cover extending the capabilities by replacing the standard logic controller with a larger one.

07.Convoy Robots

This will begin to bring multiple sensors together for performing more advanced tasks. The goal is to create a robot the will find a line and follow that line until it encounters an obstruction. The robot will then either stop if the object is an obstetrical, or follow the object if it is another robot.

08.Wireless control

This will cover a few ways to add wireless connectivity to the Hack-E-Bot.

10.Collaborative robotics (advanced)

This is a much more advanced task that will include many of the tasks previously performed.
